These terms govern your use of Shatterdome - the website, dashboard, API, and any browser extension we offer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Shatterdome helps creators fingerprint their video content, detect similar or duplicate uploads elsewhere, generate evidence reports, and draft DMCA takedown notices. It is a tool to support your own copyright enforcement - it does not file legal notices on your behalf without your review, and it is not a law firm or a substitute for legal counsel.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account, including through API keys you generate.
You retain ownership of the video content you upload or connect to Shatterdome. By submitting content, you represent that you own it or have the rights necessary to submit it for fingerprinting and comparison, and you grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze that content solely to provide the service to you. Notices you generate (DMCA drafts, claim analyses) are your responsibility to review and file - you are the one submitting them, under your own name, to the relevant platform.
You agree not to use Shatterdome to submit content you don't have rights to protect, to file takedown notices you know to be false or abusive, to circumvent API rate limits or access controls, or to attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the service without our agreement. Agency-tier API access is intended for your own applications and workflows, not for reselling raw access to third parties.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
If you believe material accessible through Shatterdome infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@corvuslabs.dev with the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), and we'll respond promptly.
Shatterdome is provided "as is." Similarity scores, claim analyses, and generated notices are decision-support tools - we don't guarantee that a takedown will succeed, that a match is legally infringing, or that generated legal drafts are complete or accurate for your situation. You're responsible for reviewing anything before you file it.
To the extent permitted by law, Shatterdome and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost content, lost revenue, or the outcome of any copyright claim or dispute.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use of the takedown-generation or API features.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active users.
